That is entirely the problem. We are so mistrusting of the powers that be (sometimes with good reason) that we see dark shadows everywhere.

I have absolutely no trust in the powers that be. I think to trust them would be a little on the silly side

The awful thing about this stuff is that it is entirely plausable. 
 One thing I do know is that our rights are being eroded in the name of safety and security and no can see it and most folk don't believe it.
